I have a plan…

August 29th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Every time I see someone die in a fire on a boss fight, my soul becomes a just a little more twisted with hatred and evil. This is a bad thing. Another year or two leading raids and I’ll be ready to get shipped off to Guantanamo. “Death to the infidels who cannot move out of the fire!”

Perhaps the problem is that I am only yelling at my raiders when they are dying in a fire or just did. I assume most of you are the same way if you’re raid leaders. You might warn them in advance to avoid the fire, but you probably don’t utterly lose your shit until they do. And that’s where we’ve been missing a golden opportunity. From now on to keep them on their toes, just scream at them at random times…

“Hey can you make me a flask?”

“Sure.”

Then when they’re making it, “MOVE OUT OF THE FUCKING FIRE!”

That’ll wake em up! Pretty soon they’ll become pyrophobic. Cooking will become a thing of the past, torches will terrify them, and maybe they’ll stop dying to every stupid AOE that gets thrown at them.

Hey, why limit yourself to yelling at people in game.

“Would you like fries with that?”

“MOVE OUT THE FIRE ASSHAT, YOU”RE GONNA DIE!”

“Please… pull forward?”

Or if you were lucky enough to come across some fire fighters at a real fire, you could just go off on them! They’d probably spray you with the hose though. Way to die to spout. Noob.
