The more I play WoW, the more little things piss me off. You know how it is, you’re playing the game, completely calm, when some little thing happens, and you lose your shit. Or is that just me?
One of these popped up last night. We’re clearing trash to Supremus, and we start pulling the Fearbringers (Big green demons for those who aren’t in BT). We down the first one, and go on to the second, when it hits me.
“Fucking Warstomp!”
“Huh” - from several voices over vent.
“I’m sick of these fuckers Warstomping the whole raid and wasting our time!” (3 seconds, but when it happens it feels like a lifetime)
I want to go to Blizzard HQ, find the little shit that added this ability, walk up behind him, and smack him upside the head. “Warstomp!!!!” That would get his attention. Then every time he tried to complain or get away from me, WHACK! “WARRRRSTOMPPP!”
“Why are you doing…”
SMACK! “Warstomp!!!”
“Please, don’t hit me again!”
“Warstomp!” Smack! See how I changed that shit up on him.
Then I would just leave. Then later when he though he was safe and went to take a piss, I’d jump out the stall behind him when he was all lined up at the urinal. Crack! “WARSTOMP! Three second stun mother fucker!”
That shit would be epic.

What annoys me to no end is not the stun itself but the way the raid stays clumped so that they can be stunned in a rain of fire all together.
And when i manage to spread up, either some die to the blue flame cone, or they go and agro the neighbouring packs.

I totally understand the feeling.
However for me it’s a clear sign that i need to cooldown on the game i’m playing (it happends at more games then just wow).
So my advice is play less wow for a week or 2 and you’ll be back to being your own calm self again.

Warstomp, stuns, fears, pretty much anything that causes you to not be in control of your character is super annoying, and should not be in WoW. Well, wait, it actually does add quite a bit to the game if you think about it. Like, well, not a single thing. Fires? Fine. Flamestrike/Deadly Poison combos? I can deal. Mobs that randomly ignore aggro and charge people? Fine. But seriously, stuns and fears are a useless and obnoxious raid mechanic. If I wanted those I would just do Arenas.

I can attest to the losing of one’s shit to warstomps on those stupid fearbringers. It sucks even more when you get warstomped and he rains green shit on your head and kills half of your healers because they’re too stupid to spread out.
“I’ll put you on follow, kk? I’ll still heal, but I need to eat a burrito.” warstompgreenshitOMFGDEAD! “WTF happened to me? Why didn’t you move?!”
